23rd June 2010,the date that all students , lecturers and guests will remember that Selangor Matriculation College in Banting , Selangor will inaugurated by Tan Sri Muhyidin Yassin , The Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. As one of the college committee, I had been chosen to design our college to look more beautiful during the opening ceremony.

First and foremost, I would like to make some decoration in Antares hall. This is because all our guest will come to the hall and may take some perception about the beauty of our college just by looking at the hall only. So, I suggest to put some plant inside and outside the hall. Beside that, we need extra canopy to make sure all our guest can sit properly under the canopy. We also need to separate our student into two groups. One group which consist of class leader, student hostel committee, KAKOM athletes, and mentee leader. This group will sit inside the hall. Another one group consist of normal student. This group will sit outside the hall under the canopy. By doing this way, some of our guest can sit inside the hall.

Secondly, we also can organise an art week. During art week, we can put the student on the mural contest. Then, our building wall will look more beautiful and harmony. Besides that, the student can enjoy art week and teamwork will make their friendship bond become closer. We only spent a little money but we will get a big benefit. Al Battani building and Andromeda building will look more beautiful after the wall been decorated by student’s mural. We can also put 1Malaysia theme on the mural. Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will be proud to see our student’s mural.

Thirdly, we will distribute to each selected student in malaysia flag so that students will be flying the flag all the way malaysia deputy prime minister. In addition, we also need to beautify the Andromeda building because the building will be used by representatives of other colleges to promote their college to our student’s college. We will paint the classroom walls in the Andromeda building to look more cheerful than usual. In addition, we must examine the facilities available at the Andromeda buildings so that the facilities can be used during opening ceremony.

Fourth, we will cooperate together to provide clean dormitory buildings, classrooms, As Sufi mosque and Aquilla building. With this, we foster in students the love of cleanliness. We will carry out a project to plant trees. We will be planting trees along the road. With this, we can nurture students to love the environment. In addition, the Banting also a hot area, and by planting trees we can reduce the surrounding heat. For example, we will plant trees so that after several years the trees would grow well and can reduce the heat around the college.

Finally,we must plan properly the preparation of the opening ceremony so that it can impress all our guest especially deputy prime minister.
